Waterbirth Photo Awarded 3rd Place at NJ Symposium

Picture
Picture3rd Place Prize Winner
Update: Photo was awarded 3rd place!
The Midwives of NJ have done so much for advancing and advocating for waterbirth (& HYDROTHERAPY!) at Morristown Memorial Medical Center, and throughout northern NJ as a region. This weekend they are hosting a symposium with guest speaker Rebecca Dekker, PhD, RN of Evidence Based Birth. You can read her evidence based article here. We are very excited because one of our waterbirth photos has been selected for display at the Midwives of NJ Symposium for Physiologic Birth.

This NJ Birth Photographer is excited to be part of this event, which will hopefully continue to educate the public on the evidence around waterbirth.

Here are some other photos from the birth. Happy Birthday to all the waterbabies that will be born today!
