Postpartum Doula Services & Lactation Support
Welcome and congratulations on your pregnancy! Being a new parent is awesome and amazing and your heart positively explodes with love. Having said that, postpartum can also be a struggle and often a very overwhelming and exhausting time. My goal is simply to be present in the home to help in any way I can and lend some expertise. My role includes help with lactation, newborn care, recovery and self-care of the mother, some cooking, light cleaning, and laundry. Happy to walk the dog! If all goes well, the parents will get to nap when I am visiting.

My background includes: 13 years as a birth doula, supporting mothers thru birth and into postpartum: Certified Lactation Counselor thru The Center for Breastfeeding; Birth Arts International Postpartum Doula Training, Graduate of Culinary School followed by work in NYC restaurants, 4.5 years as a Newborn Photographer at St. Clare's Hospital. I have also gained experience as a mother of two (now teenage) breastfed babies.
POSTPARTUM DOULA PACKAGE:
I offer services within the first 4 weeks postpartum. Currently, I am just doing days and only offering nights if they are part of a mostly daytime package. I do not work in homes where there are people who smoke. I love pets. I look forward to supporting you and your family postpartum. My rate is $60 per hour.

* Additional hours may be added in 2 hour increments. Families usually schedule my services for every other day.
*A travel surcharge of $20 per day will be added for families living beyond a 15 mile radius from me in Denville.
